Pappas-Kelley is an energy worker, artist, and educator - trained in Akashic reading and healing, sacred image work, Reiki Master, guide and journey work. They write extensively on art, the relationship between undoing/destruction as integral in the creative act, sacred/other, and contemporary culture. Their recent book Solvent Form: Art and Destruction was published by Manchester University Press and their newest collection To Build a House that Never Ceased was released in 2020. Their work has exhibited internationally at places such as San Francisco MoMA (U.S.), Mass MoCA (U.S), Five Years (London), Islington Mill (Manchester), and Glasgow International as part of the National Review of Live Art.
